Music
Carmen Swigart is the director for our Band (grades 6-HS). She also teaches our Children's and Advanced Choirs. The 2020 school year she will be offering a beginning band as well as private lessons for students in grades 5 and up. She has taught band and choir around the country for many years in Seventh-day Adventist schools. She makes music fun and happy while helping our students improve in their musical abilities.
Outdoor Play
Beacon Academy values playtime. If weather is permitting students will have three times during each day to play outside. This helps students improve their focusing abilities, comprehension, and attitudes.
STEAM
Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Mathmatics
Beacon Academy incorporates many STEAM activities and projects daily. Our desire is to make education meaningful and fun.
